Our Open Day Speaker,
Rachael Clark
Coordinator of Home Education Queensland
Rachael Clark is a respected figure in Queensland’s homeschooling community, with over 15 years of experience providing personalised guidance on homeschooling and registration requirements. Known for her advocacy through the Home Education Qld Facebook group and her appearances on 60 Minutes, Sunrise, and The Project, Rachael has inspired countless families with her journey.
As a mother of four, Rachael began homeschooling after her eldest child was diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, and ODD in Grade 4, navigating the challenges of a neurodiverse household. Living regionally with a range of animals, she draws on her own experiences to empower families to create educational paths that suit their unique needs.
Rachael’s background includes 10 years in policy development for state government, 23 years running a Bowen Therapy business, and 10 years as a Research Scientist. Her diverse experience makes her a valuable advocate and leader for the homeschooling community.

At Kidspace Homeschooling Hub, we provide a vibrant and
enriching space for homeschoolers to engage in meaningful play,
build essential life skills, and form lasting friendships.
Our drop-off care service is designed to support homeschooling
families by fostering social connections and community
engagement in a safe and nurturing environment.
Kidspace is a purposefully different community hub with an
experienced educational team dedicated to providing children
with community centred opportunities for recreation, leisure &
holistic learning.
Frequently Asked Questions
The Open Day is designed for homeschooling families looking for a safe, nurturing space where children can connect, explore, and learn. It’s perfect for parents who want to see how our Hub works and for children to experience a taste of Kidspace.
While parents explore the Hub, children will join a 2-hour experiential trial session, enjoying hands-on activities including nature play, creative arts, group games, and more. It’s a fun and authentic taste of our program.
Parents are welcome to stay and explore the Hub, attend the talk by Rachael Clark, and connect with other families. Your child will be fully supervised and supported during their experience session.
