Kidspace opened in 2016 with the mission to change OSHC; making it a fun and engaging environment for all children. Kevan and Lynne, the centre directors both experienced push back from their own children who expressed the issues with a traditional OSHC service after attending one for many years at their primary school. They highlighted that their school-based service was boring and repetitive.

Kevan and Lynne took these concerns, paired it with their vast experience in childcare and opened Kidspace. Today, Kidspace operated at 19 Third Avenue, Caloundra and focuses on providing an environment where children can have fun, explore and learn new things. Kidspace is heavily excursion based, and aims to provide all children with the opportunity to learn in the real world.

The Kidspace educational team is made up of over 80 years of childcare and OSHC experience. Our centre is currently licensed by the Queensland Education Department and we are an approved provider of the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), meaning we can utilise CCS to offset your daily fee.
